Elements
The basic 5 elements are Elec, Aqua, Fire, Wood, and Null. In order to get one of the other elements, you must be a Null Element navi, and buy the Element Upgrade. Once your navi has been changed by the Element Upgrade, they can never be unchaged, or changed to a different element. Elements available from the Element Upgrade are Sword, Break, Wind, and Cursor. Below is how the elements affect each other.
Fire>Aqua>Elec>Wood>Fire
Sword>Break>Cursor>Wind>Sword
In the case of one element beating another, the damage is doubled.
Custom Chips
See the Custom Chip Guide for info on this. Your starting Custom is only allowed to be Standard type.
NaviChips
First off, all NaviChips are Time-freezing, and no NaviChip can be Support-type. You cannot own your own navichip, even if you have multiple navis. The NaviChip's code is the same as Custom Chip codes (the first letter of your navi's name). There is also an *-code of your V1 Navichip (no other NaviChips have one). You cannot give away the * code of your NaviCHip, but you can give away the other code.
Also, you MUST put "TIMEFREEZING" at the end of your navi chip's description. To not go overboard with damage or effects.
Attack Types
These are the types of attacks that your custom chips, navi chips, and every chip in general can be, along with basic descriptions.
Slash - This is a cutting/slicing action. It requires physical contact.
Melee - This is a hitting action, usually blunt. It requires physical contact.
Projectile - This is a thrown/tossed object.
Blaster - This is a shot, from a chip like a Cannon. Absolutly no physical contact required.
Support - This affects the user and the user only. It generally heals damage or status effects, increases damage to chips, or grants abilities. These have no effect whatsoever on the opponent.
Defense - These chips protect the user from damage, effects, or otherwise.
