Well, this bio has undergone several changes due to complaits I've received from William. He better be happy. But Energyman is still the same, so be happy!
NOTE: This is not his original bio. In the original, he fought an angel-type Program, and in order to save itself, it fused with Energyman.
Now, please read his bio and tell me what you think. It is 2000+ words...
Description
Anthony is a dark skinned youth about the age of 16. His eyes are pale gray, as well as his eyes. His normal outfit consist of baggy black jeans and a yellow shirt with a lightning bolt on it. He wears a black vest with a grey trimming on it, and his PET strapped to his upper left arm. His shoes are black with a volt-like design on them, and he wears a driving glove over his right hand. His primary means of travel is his skateboard.
Anthony is a mild-mannered boy. He doesn't make friends easy, but once he does, it's hard to get rid of him, wether he trust you or not (and vice versa). Anthony can be very reckless, especially in Netbattles, using his favorite P.A., HyperBurst/MegadiusBurst, to take care of most problems. These reckless actions usually cause problems for both friend and foe. Anthony is quite intelligent, despite his behavior, but when the time comes, he can show that genius that is lurking within, and will fight for what he beleives is right (wether or not it really is right).
Energyman is a tall navi, whose skin and hair color is identical to Anthony's, as well as his primary behavior. His eyes are green, but they're covered by a green visor. Energyman's undersuit is dark grey, and the armor on his lower arms, chest, and lower legs is a lighter gray. The designs over his body are yellow. His last custom feature is his dark blue cape that has gray spikes at the bottom, and a yellow design on the back.
History/Bio
Energyman started off as a standard off the shelf Normal Navi named Serjax. His Netop, Christian, received him on his 10th birthday. Christian was never a very defensive person, but he liked things fast. During his first year, Christian did not know how to program, but spent that whole year learning. When he was 11, he had succesfully modified Serjax's programing to make him a faster navi. Christian felt this as a large accomplishment, and began to Netbattle.
After only a few battles, Christian realized that the modifications on Serjax made him better at hand to hand combat. With this info, Christian scrapped most of his projectile type chips, and got more melee type chips, such as Swords and BronzeFist. He also created, modified, and installed many martial arts programs. In his small little town, Christian had made a name for himself as the "Best Normal navi NetOp." His many defeats were mostly at the hands of rich programers, or custom navis. But he didn't care. His father was a scientist, and so was his best friend's mother. His friend, Jeremy Barker, had a custom navi named Sharpman, and Sharpman and Serjax were always fighting, being the rivals they were.
One fateful year, when Christian was only 13, his father and Ms. Barker completed a new PET design. This had gotten them a promotion, and they were to move to work at SciLab. Christian and Jeremy were excitied about the new town, ready to take on any new netbattlers they faced. And they did. After only a few months, they had met and befriended Hikari Netto and his gang. They even both got a chance to fight Rockman, and lost quickly. The one person they did not meet that they had wanted to was Ezan Chaud and his NetNavi, Blues.
Once day, Christian and Jeremy had received a call from SciLab, having been recruited to delete some rouge viruses. Sharpman was sent to fight in SciLab Area 2, were Beastman was said to be controlling a horde of Swordy Viruses. Serjax was sent elsewere, were Elecman had gone haywire and was attacking with Elec viruses. Arriving at his site, Serjax took down all the viruses and defeated Elecman, though he had sustained some deep injuries. When he was about ready to leave, a navi calling himself Copyman appeared before him. The only words he uttered were, "You are powerful. Your power will come from those you have defated." With that, he lifted his hand, and the remaining virus and Elec-element data began to float around Serjax, and entered through his wounds. The viral data adjusted his programing and his outer look. After a breif moment of pain, a yellow and gray navi lay on the floor before Copyman, visor covering his eyes. This navi's hands were also warped, to be more claw-like. "You are now Energyman." Copyman said, and logged out. At the same time, Christian had received an e-mail from an unknown sender with Cyberworld co-ordinates.
After much research by SciLab, Energyman was released, and he traveled to the area in the e-mail. He found himself at a portal just above the Ura Net. That's when a strange cloaked navi appeared before him, claiming to be a "holy avenger" by the name of Vorpalman. For months, Christian and Energyman returned to this area and trained with Vorpalman, learning several knew battle techniques. One day, Vorpalman was gone, and Energyman had gotten a ransom note. He did not take the ransom, but went to save Vorpalman by brute force, using several attacks he had learned from his master. Energyman reached Vorpalman, but not in time to save him. Vorpalman decided to merge some of his data with Energyman, giving him more holy abilities, and told him to await the "angel of the digital world." This angel was non other than Angelman.
Angelman taught Energyman how to use his holy powers, and even release the angel inside of himself. That is when he learned of the terrible fate of angels; they may succumb to their need to purify darkness, and begin to purify anything less holy than they were. Energyman then left Angelman, and went on his own with Christian, taking the Cyberworld by storm.
Vorpal Claw is the basic attack Energyman had before he met Vorpalman, and renamed all his attacks to include Vorpal in them, in honor of his sensei. With Vorpal Claw, Energyman focuses electricity all throughout his claw, and slashes through the opponent. He mastered this attack even more with Angelman, were he learned Lightforce Claw. When using this attack, Energyman's claw crackles with yellow energy.
Static Recovery is a very basic healing technique Energyman has. Energyman pulls electricity from all around him in the cyber world, restoring parts of his data. Though he can heal like this, it is not very efficient for healing a large amount of damage, for the slow pace it has, and the little health it restores.
Lightforce Claw is a modified Vorpal Claw. Instead of focusing electricity in his claw, he focuses holy or Light energy. When he slashes with this claw, no force except for a very powerful darkness can block it. When using this attack, Energyman's claw glows a yellowish-white.
Vorpal Wave (aka Electromagnetic Wave) is a technique Energyman learned while training with Vorpalman. This is considered one of Energyman's ultimate attacks. When using this attack, Energyman's body floats high into the air (higher than he can normally levitate). He curls up, and his body begans to spark with electricity. He then arcs back, and two waves of energy release from all sides of his body. The first wave is invisible, and instantly destroys any barriers, auras, or guards the opponent may have. The second wave, which follows a fraction of a fraction of a second later, is yellow and deals immense damage. Using this attack also damages Energyman, and slightly cripples him for some time. More than two uses of this attack is fatal to Energyman.
Vorpal Orb is one of Energyman's smallest attacks, but deals devastating damage. He concentrates energy into the shape of an orb and tosses it at the enemy. Upon contact with anything, it explodes and sends a surge of electricity out.
Vorpal Ray is a very basic electric attack Energyman has. Storing energy in his palms, Energyman sends it forward in the shape of a beam. It has no special properties, and is easily blocked or dodged.
Vorpal Shield is a basic defensive attack learned from Vorpalman. When using this attack, Energyman waves his arm or hand, and a small shield breifly appears where he waved.. When attacks hit it, it sends off small bits of electricity that cut and shock the opponent. This shield is primarily for use against melee attacks. After honing this attack, it became Energyman's Vorpal Wall.
Vorpal Wall is an advancement on Vorpal Shield. Vorpal Shield is primarily used against projectile attacks, and has a much larger blocking area. When using this attack, Energyman simply lifts his hands. When a projectile gets within a certain vicinity of him, it is absorbed and shot back out with electric properties. If an enemy enters the wall's perimiter, they take slight cutting damage, but nothing to halt them in their advancement. Any projectile fired or tossed from within the wall is immune to the effects of it.
Vorpal Replication is a technique learned from Vorpalman, but not properly mastered. When using this technique, Energyman makes visual images of himself. These images cannot deal damage (though they may use an attack), and instantly fall upon taking one hit or hitting something. These images of Energyman look like him in every aspect imaginable except one; they have no shadows. They can even make themselves look like Energyman's other forms (Viral Release, Angel Form) to make the illusion more realistic. In heated battle, there is less focus on avoiding the Energyman with the shadow than avoiding all the Energymen.
Vorpal Copy is the proper technique Vorpalman meant to teach Energyman, but took him a long time to master. Vorpal Copy is a higher version of Vorpal Replication. These copies are Energyman in every way, shape, and form. They have shadows, can deal physical damage, and take damage until they fall. These copies are much weaker then Energyman, but it is impossible to tell the difference is a heated battle. In casual, basic battle, the copies are still near impossible to tell apart from the real Energyman, but opponents who can see raw virtual data or have advanced sight programming can tell the difference.
Vorpal Sense is a self learned technique Energyman acquired while in many fights. This is a type of built-in programming that Energyman can activate at will. This sharply increases Energyman's visually- and agility-based programming. While using this, Energyman's eyes glow yellow, and he can learn an attack an opponent is using while Vorpal Sense is active. The first time, Energyman takes the hit at near full force, learning how to direct and power his blows. The next time, the attack becomes much easier to avoid. The more times Energyman sees the attack, the easier it becomes to avoid, until it is impossible to fool him with it, even with fancy tricks.
Viral Release is a power that Energyman was endowed with when he was first transformed. It consist of the rouge virus data withing Energyman's programing. In times of great danger, or after taking a lot of damage, Energyman can no long contain the data, and it is released through his body. When this happens, spikes of bugged data erupt from Energyman's body and armor, and small patches of himself become bugged. As he is overcome by the "virus," he can no longer channel Light or Elec energy. Though this weakens him, he gets a substantial increase in power and speed, though he becomes more vulnerable to damage. Energyman also loses some control over his body in this state. In very rare occasions, Energyman will regain control while the virus is still affecting him. He retains the basic properties of it, but he can now control himself fully and use his Elec powers again. After taking back over his body, though he is still using the power of the virus, it gradually goes back into his core data and once it is completely back, Energyman becomes very weak.
Angel Form is a holy power bestowed upon Energyman by Vorpalman, and mastered while with Angelman. Angel Form is a power Energyman can summon at most any time. When he activates this, wings sprout from his back, and each wing has a span at least as long as his body. His yellow designs also glow in this state. Unlike most people would think, Energyman's wings are not white, but yellow and gray, and at times when overcome by Viral Release, yellow and black. In Angel Form, Energyman is surrounded in holy energy, and all his Light attacks become much stronger. He also becomes faster, and can fly high above the field. When Energyman is overcome by holy energy, he enters becomes a Pure Angel, and his yellow designs turn white.
Vorpal Weapon is another custom attack by Energyman. With this attack, he focuses electricity or light between his hands, and spreads it into a shape of his choosing, most often a weapon. He uses this attack when he doesn’t have access to his chips to make swords or other weapons, or when he used Vorpal Sense on an opponent and needs to copy their weapon.
Overshine is a non-combat skill Energyman learned when messing with his new holy powers. Energyman summons a ball of pure light in his hand, and tosses it in the air. A moment afterwards, it explodes, blinding all enemies. This is also enough light to destroy small traces of darkness, and void all shadows. If an enemy is hiding within a shadow, this forces them out of it.
Vorpal Thunder is an upgrade of Vorpal Orb. Energyman concentrates more electrical power into his claw while compressing the energy. The result is a crackling ball of electricity. He often tosses it like a bomb, but in close range combat, he just hits the enemy with it.
Lightforce Blast is just like Vorpal Ray, but uses Light energy instead. It is faster, but deals less damage. It also can purify select areas, but not large areas of darkness. This attack was mastered when Energyman encountered Django and Otenko, and he used Vorpal Sense while the Pile Driver was active.
Lightforce Destruction is one of Energyman's most holy attacks. This attack is only used when in Angel Form, for it requires the most amount of Holy energy. Energyman spreads light power across the area, instantly removing any trace of darkness. But the darkness is not destroyed, merely pulled into Energyman's data and purified. This process of purification exhaust Energyman, and the darker the source, or if there is too much, Energyman may be unable to move. On physical enemies, they are dealt immense damage, and darknavis are often deleted instantly.
Banishment is another extremely powerful attack that takes alot of Energyman's power and energy. He gathers large quantitities of light and electric energy. When he gathers this energy, he strikes the ground, causing a large spire of light and electricity to shoot skyward. The light from the attack is near blinding, though not as blinding as Overshine. The attack has a large radius, but gets signifigantly weaker as it goes farther. Nearby enemies may get deleted, while others are severly damaged. Dark Energy is almost completly wiped out by this attack too. If a navi is hit with this instead of the ground, that navi has no chance for survival.
The Holy Cross is the only physical weapon Energyman has. He uses it to contain his virus data much more safely. He can also force a Viral Release. He causes the cross to spread the infected virus data through it, causing tribal-like symbols to appear on the cross. The symbols then appear on Energyman to, but are connected to the cross. So if he loses contact with the cross, he loses Viral Release, but only if he activated it this way. He can summon the cross at any time he needs. The cross is pointed at each end, so it can be used to slash or stab. It also has it's own source of holy energy, that Energyman can channel.
NOTE: This is not his original bio. In the original, he fought an angel-type Program, and in order to save itself, it fused with Energyman.
